Working closely with residents the Lavender Housing Partnership has developed a masterplan for Durand Close. This masterplan will create 500 new homes incorporating energy efficient features, enhanced community and leisure facilities and a revitalised natural environment.

The new homes, a combination of apartments and houses, will be available for affordable rent, part buy/part rent and private for sale. Developed in a newly landscaped environment the buildings will range in height from two to six storeys, with the lower storey accommodation positioned around the perimeter of the site, in keeping with the adjoining properties. Houses and ground floor apartments will have a garden, while upper floor apartments will have a spacious balcony.
