Partnership Progresses Plans

The Lavender Housing Partnership* today submitted an outline planning application for the redevelopment of Durand Close in Sutton.

This is the first important stage in the planning process and seeks approval of the masterplan for the regeneration of Durand Close. The application sets out the broad framework on which the existing estate can be demolished and comprehensively redeveloped to provide mixed tenure new homes, a shop, community and play facilities, designed to meet current and future needs.

Within the application we have stated our vision of ‘creating a place where people will choose to live and that will enhance the quality of their lives’. To achieve this our masterplan seeks to meet the following design objectives:
